The Voice Top 3 - H 2013

Cee Lo Green has a friend on the outside now. Tuesday night's elimination episode of The Voice not only revealed which three singers would compete for the championship next week, but also pushed another coach out of the competition.

With no Instant Save to wait for, the first elimination sent James Wolpert packing, after singing U2's "With or Without You" on Monday night. Though accurately predicted by last week's #VoiceSave – the only upside of the very alienating Twitter experiment – Wolpert's leave also marked Adam Levine's first loss of the season's top 12, making him the first coach to have three singers in the top five.

Also sent home was Cole Vosbury, the final contestant of Blake Shelton's team. While he didn't take the title, he settled well into his artistic sound when performing Garth Brooks' rendition of Billy Joel's "Shameless" the night before. Vosbury's leave does mean that Shelton's three-time winning streak has officially been broken.

That leaves Christina Aguilera's Jacquie Lee, Levine's Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin in the top three -- all of whom love a good power ballad with a very climactic bridge. Finally, a Levine vs. Aguilera singing showdown (remember when they squabbled during every single episode of season two?).

The episode was filled with Voice alumni appearances. Season three champion Cassadee Pope performed "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart" and season four winner Danielle Bradbery sang "Never Like This," each from their debut albums. (Coincidentally, the night that Shelton's three singers returned to perform on the show was when he was eliminated from the current season as a coach).

Season four's Michelle Chamuel of Team Usher took the stage to sing "Go Down Singing" and The Swon Brothers of Team Blake also played their new single "Later On." Season two breakouts Jamar Rogers and Chris Mann were in attendance as well.

What did you think of Tuesday’s elimination? Was the right singer sent home, or do you wish the Twitter’s #VoiceSave was available this week? Who will take the title: Lee, Chin or Champlin? Levine or Aguilera? Sound off in the comments below.

'The voice' Recap: Top 5 sing for the finals

The Voice Semifinals - H 2013

The voice came to the semifinal with a left singer Blake Shelton and Christina Aguileracompeting Adam Levine free team.

After the top five, United "Best Day of My Life" in American writers, it is fragmented for their live performances of semifinal. With Cee Lo Green now out for the season, here's how they did it:

Saved by the final vote on Twitter last week, Levine James Wolpert took on the tortured and in a bad mood "with or without you" by U2. "While that Aguilera has felt obliged to share (only) she suggested that the song for the performance of coaches, Shelton has actually criticized performance:" damn, you could dug yourself a hole, "he said."It was really loud. "However, if the moment save taught us anything, it is that one who is about to go a week a House is then sent packing next week.

Levine then assigned Champlin willingness to address the issue of the anthemic "Carry On". fun with a slow to do introduction hers. "It's really cool to see you feel any"swaggy' up there, "said Green, praising his performance of the song, while Shelton was happy to see more smile on stage. (We wish that we saw even more, in fact!)

Aguilera asked Jacquie Lee to switch to the top of its stamps on Sarah McLachlan's Angel, opting not for the gentle approach of the original, but more than a 'ballade' approach. "You did things, I didn't know you were going to do tonight," said Aguilera, while Green said that it has cracked on his funk. 'Just at the moment I think I'm tired, I don't have all the world to encourage or support, and it reminds me, all this belongs to me.'

After a meeting of grooming alongside a solidarity green, Shelton has listened to Cole's Vosburysuggestion perform Garth Brooks' rendition of Billy Joel "Shameless", the conquest of the scene with more confidence this time. "I think you understand just who you are," said Shelton, with green, echoing this praise.

Finally and most importantly, Levine had Tessanne Chin go to Simon & Garfunkel "Bridge Over Troubled Water", full of dynamic range and a note incredibly long finish that left the audience was soon. His coach mentions that a few negative points were edited by his block - a comment that raised almost tears of Chin - but Shelton said that as opposing coach, it resumed again any praise that Levine said.

Tuesday night an another double elimination, the final will be reduced to three singers - potentially, all from the same team. We wonder if Levine will escape the night once more free.
